Our STORY

Together, as best friends since 2008, Andi and Josh have been getting into mischief, mayhem, and adventures throughout their lives, all around the world, for over 17 years. Having created a family, but never truly feeling like they belonged in America due to their shared upbringing, they sold everything they owned once again and took to the road.

With their three surfer-haired, ragamuffin wildlings, their mischievous 6-year-old cat, their 3-year-old velociraptor-blue heeler-border collie-aussie shepherd mix, and their 36-foot RV, they travel full-time across North America, taking life by the horns and following wherever the energy leads them. This often involves new cultural experiences, simple and budget-friendly adventures, a slower pace of life—or, as they call it, “Tuesday bonfires”—and exploring various landscapes where they might one day consider settling down.

As both artists and storytellers, Andi’s love of adventure and unintentional magnetism for danger, combined with their natural talents for managing chaos and navigating literal disasters in their Emergency Management career, pair well with Josh’s calming, positive energy, his “why not” attitude, and his unique surplus charisma. Together, they are each other’s exact and equal opposite—a yin and yang—creating a beautiful juxtaposition that works incredibly well together. Combine all that with their tolerance for limited structure, disdain for chasing what society deems as excessive normal, and their absolute love of spontaneity, and the result is a lifetime of memories and adventures they’ve created, navigated, survived, and thrived- all of which they love sharing in narrative or illustrative ways.

    He’s down for any adventure, big or small, and will happily drive for hours to get there. With a good cup of coffee, any destination is possible.

  • Hands down the most creative kid I know. An artist by day, paleontologist and science expert by interest, D&D DM by night. Leads their siblings on D&D campaigns as they go to sleep.

    100% chance they know more about dinosaurs than you. Will start the day off asking you the most complex questions while you wake up, build a 6 foot dragon out of paper, and quietly draw animals, dragons, dinosaurs, or D&D characters.

    Most likely to be found with a college-level textbook in their backpack for “light road trip reading.”

  • While they are Andi’s closest looking mini-me, they are Josh’s soul-twin. Charisma or empathy roll is a nat 20 every time.

    They’re passionate about pokemon - Charizard is their favorite and they love trading cards with their friends.

    They find a friend wherever they go, and they are most likely to help defend someone physically and teach the person how to stand up for themselves and fight if need be. Will hold you accountable and also include you if you are on the outskirts of society.

  • Resilient AF. They don’t take bullshit, don’t hesitate to advocate for themselves or those who need their voice heard, don’t give a care in the world what other people think. They’re the youngest, but can make their siblings eat carpet.

    With their passion for dinosaurs, pokemon, and minecraft, they can tell you specialized details that they learned through an obscure source.

    They’re down for adventure - doesn’t care what it is. They never let their chronic pain and fatigue prevent them from saying “no.” Holder of the titles: Badass. Known for their grit.
